It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Every year, it's like Christmas comes around quicker and quicker, and 2023 is no exception! 

We are very excited to have our very own Christmas room: Santa's List: for this 2023 holiday season and can see that you are all pretty excited too! If you haven't already got yourselves booked in to come and give the elves a hand finding the naughty and nice list, we would recommend jumping on it soon, as it is filling up fast! 

If you are already signed up for Santa's List, why not make a day of it around Plymouth? We've put together a list of our favourite events that are happening aroudn the city this Christmas to help you plan your day! 

11th of November: We wouldn't be us if we didn't mention the sustainable events around the city, so we are excited that the first Christmas Market this year is a Winter Eco Market over at the guildhall, who are raising money for local charity: Snapdragons. 

16th of November: Not only is Santa's List having its debut opening here at Escapism, but the city of Plymouth has decided to commemorate it with combining our opening with its Christmas Light Switch on!(At least, we like to think they are doing it to celebrate with us!) 

This also marks the start of Late night shopping until 9pm  every Thursday until the 21st of December. Did you know our last room goes in at 9pm? 

18th of November: Barbican Light Switch on! See the Barbican light up for Christmas with an afternoon of activities for all as they get into the festive spirit. This is a daytime activity from 12-6pm, leaving plenty of time to come in and get locked in a room for an hour!

30th November - 17th December: Everyone's favourite part of the Holiday season here in Plymouth, The Christmas Market's are back! With over 50 cabins gracing the city centre with presents and nibbles galore, you can be sure to spot your favourite Game-Hosts wandering around trying desperately to get that perfect secret santa present! 

This is obviously not an exhaustive list of events in the city, so let us know what you are getting up to that we haven't mentioned! We hope to see each and everyone of you over the holidays, whether you are booked in to find the Kings sword in Forge, save your friends from a wicked witch in Breadcrumbs, or find out who's been naughty and who's been nice in Santa's List.
